| We are a group of ladies interested in playing nine holes at a time on a challenging course. Some of us feel nine holes are enough because of time constraints, physical limitations or because it meets the needs of our competitive natures. Our club membership fee is $40.00, of which $25.00 goes to AWGA for membership. The AWGA maintains your handicap via a computerized handicapping service in accordance with the USGA handicapping system. There are many benefits to becoming a member of the AWGA. Some of those are participating in the State Medallion Tournament as well as all of the other AWGA sponsored tournaments played throughout Arizona. AWGA also sends out newsletters, email and other publications. They are also available if you need advice or interpretations on USGA rules of golf. We invite you to try us out for up to three times before joining our friendly group. Each week we play a fun game or low net and the winners in each of the four flights are awarded prize certificates. | | | |
