Welcome to the SCW Spanish Club
¡ 2009 is our 29th year as an active SCW Club !
We are a Chartered Social Club, first organized Dec. 1980
by residents interested in sharing the enjoyment of the Spanish language, Spanish Culture,
and Spanish music....not to mention....the food...... from various Spanish countries.
We are a varied group of people interested in learning more about the Hispanic world. Many of us are learning our first Spanish words. Others have become quite comfortable speaking Spanish,
whenever they have the opportunity...as in our club!
It is a FUN way to LEARN something new.....and keep our brains active !
Members meet in different groups, on different days, and, in different locations, according to their Spanish skills & interests. They explore and learn at their own pace through planned classes, videos, games, music, and other activities,
led by our talented volunteers... our Maestros.
We have 4-5 main Membership Meetings a year....combined with FUN social events. They are:

Guests of Members are always welcome at our social functions.
Other "ad hoc" functions happen, but, you will have to join us to help plan them.
