Everybody Can Play Shuffleboard Shuffleboard is a game of strategy and maneuver. It should not be thought of as a game for any single age group. It includes all age groups, and it is spreading around the world. The game is very popular in all the States. Our Club has the friendliest folks in town. We laugh at ourselves and each other. We have players at every skill level, but we believe games should be fun for all.
League Play with Other Clubs - Available During Winter Months
League play is coming back, so those who enjoy a little competition should check them out with Wilma Corey, our national champion. Her number is 584-7706. We now have new courts, thanks to the Recreation Centers Management, and we expect them to attract new people to the sport. We always welcome new members and offer lessons at no cost. In the early fall, we will be forming an in-house league which will probably play on Friday evening. If you wan competition and the challenge of playing different courts in the area, there is a District League which will begin about the 3rd week of November, playing on Monday or Tuesday morning as a rule. During the Winter, we have an In House League on Wednesday nights, which is lots of fun. Beginning in November, we also have tournament play with Sun City, Sunflower, Happy Trails, etc. Sign up in advance for this. | Our schedule now is: Regular play on Monday @ 6:15 P.M.
