| The Creative Stitchers Club is a chartered club where members engage in the art of fine hand needlework. Among the techniques are needlepoint, counted cross stitch, Brazilian embroidery, Blackwork, Pulled Thread, and Hardanger. Hand stitched items for family and friends, including wedding samplers, birth announcements, and christening gowns become treasured heirlooms of tomorow, created by our talented needle workers. Members of Creative Stitchers have presented original needlework pieces to the Sun City West Community. They are displayed in the Recreation Center's Member Services Office, Sun City West Visitor's Center, Del Webb Memorial Hospital, Women's Center, Third Floor, Chez Nous Senior Center, Eve's Place (Domestic Violence Shelter) and SCW Library. Creative Stitchers meets Mondays year round, 8:00 am - 3:00 pm, in the Acacia Room at Palm Ridge Recreation Center. Business meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 9:30 am.
